Join us for the second annual Tour de Pines bicycle tour fundraiser! All funds raised will be used to pay for the carnival for this year's Old Settlers Reunion, upgrades to Jim Hogg Park in Quitman and scholarships in Wood County.

Saturday morning check in, start, and finish lines are located at the Hainesville Baptist Church.  Early check in on Friday night is located at the Hainsville Volunteer Fire Department. 


All routes are paved, with a majority being asphalt or oil sand. There are some short transitions on chip seal. 

Routes are majority shaded through the hard woods and pines of East Texas. 


Elevations:

The 29 mile route has 1460 ft in elevation and a max grade of 4.7%.

The 40 mile route has 2009 ft in elevation and max grade of 10.7%.

The 62 mile route has 2509 ft in elevation and max grade of 3.8%.

Primitive Camping/Boondocking:

The Hainesville Volunteer Fire Department is located adjacent to the Hainesville Baptist Church and is allowing primitive camping and van/RV parking on their property for a donation. Their restrooms will be available. This is also the location for early checking on Friday night. For more information call Mike Gilmore 903-850-2460.

SAG

There will be a lead car for the first 10 miles. There will be a follow car on each route and several circulating SAG vehicles and trailers. 


Rest Stops

There will be one rest stop on the 15 mile route at 8 miles. 

There will be 2 rest stops on the 29 mile route at 8 miles and 21 miles.

There will be 3 rest stops on the 40 mile route at 15 miles, 26 miles, and  31 miles.

There will be 4 rest stops on the 62 mile route at 15 miles, 27 miles, 46 miles, and 51 miles.

All rest stops will include bathrooms, shade, water, Gatorade, pickle juice, and snacks.
