Our History
The Old Settlers Reunion began in 1898 as an end-of-harvest celebration. This annual event brings together settlers from across Wood County to celebrate our heritage. The Old Settlers Reunion has been held the first weekend in August for many years. Prior to that, it was held in mid-August. Due to the Texas heat, we are trying out a new date. Please join us October 29th through November 1st as we start this new tradition while paying respects to our history.
